about

I want to start with thanking everyone that inspired me to write for this mixtape, and people who helped me during the time it took to record this mixtape. I want to thank my mother for birthing me, putting up with me, and dealing with my troublesome actions. I love you more than words can explain. I want to thank my brother, Mark Thomas Coury, for inspiring me to follow my dreams, and showing me what happiness is.. Rest In Paradise. I want to thank my girlfriend, my soul-mate, Makeda CeCile Paul-Driver. Without her, I would've been homeless and more stressed than I already was. You complete me. I want to thank my family, and my friends I consider brothers. Travis Kemp, Tyler Krekora, Joseph Wadsworth, James Ricketson, Mario Diaz, Eddie Hendershott, Brogen Paes, and Brandon Shrivnauth. I want to thank my sisters, Elizzabeth Easter, Tina Berube, and Chelsie McDow, for their support all of these years, no matter how far apart we've been! I want to thank Billy Rusch for accepting the task of being my manager, while being my Uncle. He got me my first REAL show, alongside James Not Jim. He always has my back, even if I need an Arizona Green Tea RIGHT before I get on stage. I want to thank all the artists I worked with that inspire me. B.B.T.U.C, James Not Jim, Diedra Osbourne, Taylor Bevandich, Amiss, RhymeWright, Synopsis, Superfloss and Techy, Skipdogg Tha Soulja, and Lyrical Physique. I want to thank all of my great fans, because without you, there is no me!

This is my DEBUT. This is not an Album, but i've put my entire life into this project. I've put my heart, my soul, my blood, sweat, and tears into this project. I've spent long days and cold nights composing this mixtape. I've spent time and money I didn't have. I've ruined relationships with people, and opened doors for myself. I've felt the emotions of being a rising artist. I've experienced the harsh reality of having to man up and take life more seriously. I've experienced true stress and depression for the first time this year. This is all for the love of making music. I've been told i'm not shit, i've been told to quit, i've been told I wasn't good enough and would never amount to anything more than working at a fast food joint. I've been kicked out of school, and taken to court. The only thing that took the pain away was music, writing music, and creating music. Music has literally saved my life, and i’m striving to save yours.

If you've taken the time to listen listen to this project, this is for YOU. This is for US. This is for people adolescent, or elderly. This is for the imperfectly perfect human beings that listen to genuinely great music to ease the pain. In my short 16 years of life, i’ve learned nothing is worth being depressed over. Go out, live your life, and TAKE your happiness. Nothing is more important than for you to be happy. Surround yourself with people that lift you up when shit goes down. To all my friends and family in Florida, i’ll never forget where I came from. 352 Represent. Peace and Love.
